Kansas City Man Arrested In Door-To-Door Sales Scam A Kansas city, Missouri man accused of conducting a door-to-door sales scam in the area has been arrested. 42-year-old Ronnie Roberson was arrested Wednesday by the Nemaha County Sheriff's Department in the Sabetha area. Sheriff David Mee says Roberson was arrested on an Atchison County Warrant for Felony theft and also on local charges of driving while revoked and no proof of insurance. Authorities say Roberson had reportedly gone to residences in Atchison, Doniphan and Nemaha counties trying to sell a degreaser called "Awesome". He told people if they bought the product it would be delivered at a later date, but the product never show up. Atchison County authorities checked on roberson and found out he didn't work for the company he said he did. Robeson has been transported back to Atchison County to face charges. His bond has been set at $5,000. |
